The gas boiler is the main element of autonomous heating services. In certain cases it can spontaneously die away. To establish the reasons of malfunctions, it is necessary to carry out diagnostics of knots of heating services.
Why the gas boiler can die away
Gas boiler - complex electronic and gas system which management is made by automatic equipment. It gives the command for work stop if any of sensors gives signal of the arisen fault. The reason of it can be also in the boiler, and in other knots of heating: gas pipeline, contours of heating and hot-water supply, current network, system of smoke removal.
Very often the boiler can die away due to the lack of optimum gas pressure on entrance. It can be caused by malfunctions of gas transmission network and also internal the reasons to which fault of gasometer, problem with recorders of temperature or leak of gas, loss of tightness of connections belongs. Gas leak can cause pressure loss, in this case automatic equipment works, and the boiler dies away. For diagnostics of this fault check all joints by means of soapsuds and sponge - in places of leak bubbles have to appear.
The counter can sometimes get jammed, and it does not pass gas in the necessary volume.
The gas boiler in the house dies away also because of voltage drop in current network below tolerance level. At recovery of operation of the power supply network automatic equipment will include torch again. The similar operating mode can do harm to electronics, over time it can fail. That to avoid it, it is recommended to buy the power conditioner.
Why there is no draft in gas boiler
The gas boiler can go out because of malfunctions of flue (formation of sleet, emergence of reverse thrust). Formation of sleet leads to the fact that the draft in flue strongly decreases therefore automatic equipment switches off gas boiler. In this case the pipe needs to be cleaned and warmed for prevention of freezing of condensate.
In boilers with the closed combustion chamber the draft is created by means of the integral fan. It can fail partially or completely. As a result automatic equipment works, and the boiler stops working.
Reverse thrust appears when strengthening wind. In this case air gets to flue and begins to blow into flame in boiler. Sometimes it happens because of insufficiently high pipe of flue. In this case it needs to be increased so that the top point was 0.5 m higher than the fad on roof. Often the flame in torch of the gas boiler having the open combustion chamber dies away because of weak plenum ventilation. In this case happens to open enough window or door, and gas lights up again. Burn-out of pipe becomes the reason of reduction of draft sometimes. In the formed openings begins to blow into wind, interfering with normal work of flue. In this case it is required to replace pipe.
