How to construct a triangle on 2 parties and a corner

Creation of a triangle on two parties and a corner requires one indispensable condition - it has to be the corner between these known parties, otherwise the task has no decision. For implementation of construction there will be enough any plane (for example, the sheet of paper), the writing tool (the pencil will approach the sheet of paper), a ruler, the accuracy, having division sufficient for initial conditions, and a protractor.

Instruction

1. Formulate a task in terms, convenient for the description. For example, designate the parties known to you as the party of "AB" and the party of "BC", a corner between them - as a corner "β" (beta).

2. Put the end to a leaf - it will be that top of a triangle which corner between the adjacent parties is known to you. You designated the parties as AB and BC, so this point should be considered B top - this point has to be at them the general.

3. Carry out the piece beginning from B point by means of a ruler. Its length has to be equal to length of one of the known parties of a triangle. For example, let it will be the party designated in conditions as BC. In such a way you will construct one of the parties of a required triangle. Designate a point of the termination of this piece as top of C.

4. Arrange a protractor parallel to the carried-out piece so that the center of the angle meter coincided with a point of B and put to a leaf the auxiliary end opposite to that division of a protractor which corresponds to the set corner β.

5. Apply a ruler a zero mark to B point so that it was possible to draw a straight line between it and an auxiliary point. Put to a leaf the end opposite to that division of a ruler which corresponds to length of the second known party of a triangle. This party is designated in conditions as AB, so the put end will be top A required triangles.

6. Draw on a ruler a piece between the points of B and A noted on a leaf. In such a way you will construct the second party of a triangle known under the terms of length.

7. Apply a ruler so that to connect points of A and C, and carry out between them a piece. It will be the only party which length is not known under the terms of a task. It will be logical to designate it by the letters AC. If necessary to learn its length use a ruler. And by means of a protractor it is possible to measure also the tasks which were under the terms by unknown corners in tops of A and C adjacent to this party.
