If diameter of a circle in the basis of a cylinder (D) and its height (H) is known, then the volume of a figure will be equal to one quarter of the work of height on number p (π) and a square of the known length of diameter of a circle: V=H ∗π ∗ D²/4. For example, if length of diameter of the basis is equal to two meters, and height - to four meters, then the volume of a cylinder will be 4∗3.14∗2²/4=12.57 cubic meters.
4. If length of a circle of the basis of a cylinder (L) and its height (H) are known, then you find the volume of a cylinder (V) as the work of its height on private from division of a square of length of a circle into four numbers p (π): V=H∗L² / (4 ∗π). For example, if length of a circle of the basis is equal to two meters, and height - to four meters, then the volume of a cylinder will be 4∗2² / (4∗3.14) =1.27 cubic meters.
