6. Read the astrological calendar. There it is possible to find useful information about during what periods of time some planets appear in a visibility range. It will be possible to observe them by means of the powerful field-glass. Though Venus, for example, can be seen also without it. It appears in the east before sunrise in the form of a bright spot. 7. Pay attention as well that stars flicker, and planets shine with almost unblinking gloss. Blinking of stars is caused by air fluctuations, but even they are presented to the strongest telescopes by points. Planets have the visible sizes as are much closer.
