Put cowberry and apples in a basin, add sugar and water. You cook mix on weak fire until apples become soft. Pour jam on the sterilized banks, cool and close covers.

The soaked cowberry made by salt and sugar turns out very tasty. It can be given to fried meat, smoked products, to add to sauces. It is required to you: - 2 kg of cowberry; - 200 g of sugar; - 2 liters of water; - 1 h salt spoon; - 1 stick of cinnamon; - 4 buds of a carnation.

Instead of cinnamon and a carnation for aromatization it is possible to add the cut fragrant apples to cowberry - Antonovka or a rennet.

Touch cowberry, rejecting the damaged berries and garbage. Wash out berry in several water, cast away on a colander and dry, having scattered on a towel. Prepare filling for cowberry. Pour water in a pan, add sugar, salt, a carnation and cinnamon. Bring mix to the boil, reduce fire and you cook until sugar completely is dissolved. Lay out cowberry in the glass or enameled capacity - a pan, to bank or a large bottle. Fill in berries with the prepared syrup and cover capacity. Mature cowberry at the room temperature week. Then transfer it to the cool place and insist not less than a month. After that soaked cowberry is ready-to-serve. It is better to store it in the fridge. Correctly made berries don't lose the gustatory qualities up to 2 years.
