All of us had to write compositions according to various literary works in school. Perhaps, someone should do it and now. Certainly, at school each teacher usually has evaluation criteria compositions – someone likes the use of certain verbal designs, to someone is not present, someone from teachers is inclined to agree with opinion of the pupil, and someone insists on own. But there are some general rules of writing of the composition which will help you to create the competent and good text.
Instruction
1. Attentively read a composition subject, ponder that about you is demanded. If in heading of the composition it is told: "The crash of the theory of Rodion Raskolnikov", it is necessary to concentrate the attention to Raskolnikov's theories, but not on Fyodor Mikhaylovich Dostoyevsky's biography. Compliance of the text to the announced subject – the first step to the successful composition.
2. Make the plan of the composition. For certain when you read a composition subject, at you in the head thoughts on the set subject, perhaps, some successful turns of speech and examples began to crowd. But all this is in the head in a condition of porridge. It is necessary to put thoughts in order. Besides, each text without fail has to contain some semantic parts: introduction, tie, culmination and outcome. It is not important that you write – the work of art, the text for the website or the composition. Surely you remember these components. Paint on points about what you write in each of components.
3. Write the draft copy of the composition, being guided by the made plan. Certainly, you should not differentiate accurately the beginning and the end of each part, and do not number these parts in the composition at all! Transitions from one part to another have to be designated by paragraphs (though, not always), watch that the logic of statement of a thought was observed.
4. Introducing any idea, surely you cite the text. Not important, you agree with opinion of the author or try to challenge it. You can have the opinion cardinally opposite to what you were given at a lesson, but you have to support the point of view with good arguments and the text. Though, you should not be fond of citing too – the composition consisting of quotes alone will not be highly appreciated.
5. Rewrite the composition on the clean copy. Do not forget about what will check the composition the teacher. It does not mean that it is necessary to adapt to his opinion to earn a good mark – the true teacher will always understand and will accept the point of view of the pupil if that is able to reason it. But the dictators who are not accepting any point of view except the also occur among teachers. In this case it is better not to show character if you know that you will draw upon yourself troubles.
6. After writing of the composition several times (if time allows) check it for existence of mistakes, both grammatical, and speech and style.
