1. The speech is the instrument of cogitative activity, by means of the speech of people allocates with properties objects and the phenomena. In the speech the concept about them is fixed. A word – a material cover of a thought. The thought always arises in a verbal formulation, degree of reasonableness of a thought affects also verbal level.

2. The verbal formulation of a thought allows to make clear the reflections both for others, and for itself. Verbal fixing helps to pay attention to any given moments that promotes deeper understanding. By means of a word perhaps logical and conscious thinking. The verbal formulation does not allow a thought an abyss, it is possible to return to it for repeated considering after a while.

3. Before mastering the speech the child is in a dorechevy phase of intellectual development. Communication is carried out by a mimicry and gestures, intonation of sounds. At the age of two years thinking begins to become speech, and the speech – intellectual. The child begins to master symbolism of the speech, begins to use a word for communication.

4. Each word is the concept belonging to the whole class of the same objects. A concept - a form of thinking in which properties, communications and the relations of objects and the phenomena are reflected. It allows to deepen knowledge of an object, opening for the person more, than are capable to transfer his sense organs.

5. Eloquently the relations of a thought and the speech are presented in a phenomenon of the internal speech. Most often the subject cleans up the internal speech, words can merge in one. Such word incorporates a set of meanings. The word in the internal speech can comprise the meaning of the whole statement. For transfer to the external speech the developed statement will be used.

6. One more form of the speech – egocentric, it is between external and internal. This speech is directed to itself, the person kind of talks to himself. For others it can be unclear. The egocentric speech is especially characteristic of children. Too can meet at adults at the time of pronunciation of the solution of a difficult task. The task is more difficult, the more actively uses the egocentric speech of people.

7. In process of development of the child the external speech turns into internal, it occurs step by step. At first the razvernutost of the external speech is gradually reduced, after the external speech becomes shepotny. Only after it the child gains ability to the internal speech.
