Each section of scientific or practical knowledge uses own set of concepts and definitions. They are necessary for us to make more convenient understanding and use of various phenomena or actions described by means of these terms. "Private" belongs to such terms used at the description of one of four simplest mathematical operations.
Instruction
1. To distinguish from each other the divisions of number participating in mathematical operation, own names are appropriated to them. "Private" is designated by definition result of this operation, and three other components involved in this action are designated as "dividend" (number which is exposed to division), "divider" (number of units of division) and "rest" (the work of a fractional part private on a divider). For example, at integer division of number 48 on 5 private will be 9, a dividend – 48, a divider – 5, and a remainder of division – 3.
2. If operation contains one or several variables, then private it will not be obligatory the whole or fractional number, it can be also mathematical expression. Generally it is possible to consider private everything that costs after an equal-sign in identity which left part is division operation. For example, at expression division 6*x²+12 on 3 expression 2*x²+4 will be private.
3. Sometimes instead of the term "private" use the designation "relation". For example, if you call result of division 48 on 5 any of these two definitions, then will be to the same extent right. However more often the term "relation" is applied to the left part of identity, that is to yet not carried out division operation, and "private" call the right part, that is the received result.
