Refractory metals
Temperature of refractory metals is above 1600 °C. It is tungsten, titanium, platinum, chrome and others. They are used as light sources, machine details, lubricants and also in the nuclear industry. Make of them a wire, high-voltage wires also use for a rasplavka of other metals with lower temperature of melting. Platinum begins to turn from firm into liquid state at a temperature of 1769 degrees, and tungsten – at a temperature of 3420 °S.Rtut – the only metal which is in liquid state under usual conditions, namely, the normal atmospheric pressure and average ambient temperature.
