As a result of economic and household and industrial human activity there is a continuous environmental pollution: emission in the atmosphere, water, soil of various waste, pesticides, radioactive materials.
Air pollution
Scientific and industrial progress gave the chance to the person promptly to develop new territories, but the irresponsible relation to the environment generated an array of problems. Use of the earth under construction of megalopolises, thoroughfares, motor transport reduces intake of oxygen in the atmosphere and increases its combustion. Industrial wastes in the form of gaseous connections, use of aerosol barrels for paints, perfumery and medicines are a destroyer for an ozone layer in the atmosphere.
Water pollution
Oil, various industrial wastes, plastic materials, mercury, chlorides, sulfur the World Ocean becomes soiled. Deforestation led not only to exhaustion of the forest area, but also caused shallowing of the rivers and lakes, floods and mud streams, an erosion of soils. With deforestation there are destructive spring floods and summer floods of the rivers, flora and fauna of the earth, many animals on the verge of extinction is destroyed.
Pollution of the soil
Accidents at the plants and industrial facilities, the wrong recycling, use of inorganic pesticides which create an imbalance in the soil and also interfere with the natural growth of plants, ditches, a harmful garbage of human activity, pollution leads to pollution of the soil. Plastic bags, beaten glass, old automobile tires, the used paper, scrap metal also lead plastic which are badly utilized to environmental pollution. Utilization in the earth or at the bottom of reservoirs of radioactive and chemical waste leads to global environmental pollution.
The pollution caused by growth of the cities
Rapid growth of the cities generates new types of environmental pollution: light and noise pollution. Leads huge advertizing signs, illumination of stadiums and parks, discos to education over the cities of so-called light domes. Light pollution conducts to an electric power overexpenditure, harmful affects animals and plants, negatively influences people. Light pollution leads to violation of cycles of development in plants, leads to change of activity of animals, for example, influences the animals leading a nocturnalism. One more type of the pollution caused by growth of the cities is noise pollution. Noise from transport, the plants, public institutions has an adverse effect on human health. Constant noise causes headaches, problems with hearing. The mankind followed a way of self-destruction - the woods disappear, the rivers become shallow and become soiled, there are deserts more and more. If the mankind does not change the attitude to the environment, then shortly our descendants will have nothing to leave.
