How to define a vector of magnetic induction

For definition of a vector of magnetic induction find its absolute value and the direction. It can be done by means of a reference magnetic needle and the solenoid. In the solenoid calculate value of magnetic induction, and find its direction by means of a magnetic needle. By the rule of the gimlet there is a direction of the field of direct current and a round with current.

Instruction

The movement of the handle of the gimlet will show the direction of power lines of the field, and the vector constructed on a tangent and will show the direction of magnetic induction.

Connect a chain to a source of current and measure its force in amperes. Define induction in the center of a round, having increased value of current by 1.26•10^ (-6) and having divided into the doubled value of radius of a round in meters of B=I•1.26•10^ (-6) / (R•2). Rotate the gimlet handle in the direction of circular current, and its progress will show the direction of a vector of magnetic induction in the center of a round.
