The way invented still by Archimedes best of all is suitable for scoping of a body: being shipped in liquid, the body forces out exactly so much how many makes its volume.

Instruction
1. The easiest, of course, to find out the volume of a body of the correct geometrical form: cylinder, cube, trapeze, sphere, etc. For this purpose it is enough to measure their dimensions and to use the corresponding formulas. But also to calculate the volume of bodies of irregular shape quite easily. Let's say we need to learn the volume of a usual mug with the wall thickness of 4 mm and the massive handle. Of course, in life any formulas not to calculate its volume. But it is possible to act simpler.
2. We take a usual pan, to bank or any other, suitable by the size vessel. We fill it with water to the brim and we put in a basin or other pan, the bigger size. The simplest measuring instrument of volume is ready. Just it is necessary to lower a subject in a pan, to wait until excess water pours out and it is accurate, without spilling more at all, to get a pan from a basin.
3. All the rest is even simpler. Water from a basin pours out in a measured mug or ware which volume is in advance known. The turned-out value will also be required size.
