In the form of fraction it looks as 7/12. Let's divide the remained cake into 8 people equally. For this purpose the fraction 7/12 should be divided into integer 8.
Instruction
1. Check whether fractions on whole numerator number without the rest shares. The numerator is equal 7, and an integer - 8. Exact divisions are impossible. Check gave negative answer.
2. If on the 1st step it is answered in the affirmative, write down result of division in fraction numerator, and leave a denominator of fraction without change. In a case with cake on the 1st step received the negative answer therefore the 2nd step is passed.
3. If on the 1st step it is answered in the negative, increase a fraction denominator by an integer, and leave numerator of fraction without changes. In a case with cake on the 1st step received the negative answer therefore we carry out the 3rd step. The denominator of fraction is equal to 12. The integer is equal to 8. We multiply 12 by 8, we receive 96. As a result we have fraction 7/96.
4. Check whether it is possible to reduce numerator and a denominator by the same number. 7 and 96 without the rest are not divided into the same number therefore we leave fraction without changes. In a case with cake it has to be divided into 96 pieces. Then each of 8 people will receive exactly 7 pieces, i.e. 7/96.
