1. Think what palace you would like to draw. It can be the building which is in reality and in which there lives the true king. But maybe something fantastic. Remember what heroes of fairy tales lived in palaces, but not in locks and not in towers. For the fantastic palace it is not obligatory to transfer precisely time or style at all, it is enough to observe proportions.
2. Begin to draw the palace from the most usual rectangle. Palaces, of course, sometimes are also one-storey, but two or three floors are more often after all in them. Therefore the building has to be rather high. Each king respecting himself has court also servants who can live on the first floor. In the same place there will be a kitchen and a reception. On the second floor there can be, for example, a throne-room and halls for balls and feasts, and on the third — rooms of royal family. Plan floors thin lines.
3. Define where there will be a main entrance of the palace. It can be, for example, in the middle of the main facade. There has to be a magnificent door, a beautiful porch and a convenient path that ladies in the long dresses were not confused and did not stumble. The door is only a high rectangle. 7. The palace stands not from scratch. Before it there can be, for example, a pond or a fountain. Around the palace, trees surely grow. It can be the most usual lindens or fir-trees, but it is possible to draw also the fantastic park. The environment of the palace needs to be outlined before you pick up a brush. Trees can be not traced, made only their contours at all.
8. Paint the park and a lawn and the park. Pick up for this purpose different shades of green color. Think what color there has to be a palace. Very much are suitable for walls gentle pastel tone — pinkish, bluish, cream.
