Voltage - the wrong name of voltage, a tracing-paper from the English voltage. Practically at any power supply it can be increased. For this purpose it is necessary either to carry out adjustment, or to change a block design.
Instruction
1. Irrespective of at what power supply you want to increase output voltage, in the beginning surely make sure that loading from it will not be damaged.
2. Do not try to increase output voltage at pulse power supplies, especially in what the optopara of feedback is used. Pulse transformers in them quite often pay off almost without stock. Having forced such transformer to develop the increased tension on a secondary winding, you can cause its breakdown.
3. The possibility of adjustment is provided in some power supplies initially. It can be smooth or step. In the first case turn the handle clockwise of an arrow before achievement of desirable tension, in the second - turn the switch to desirable position. If the power supply is not stabilized, for increase in tension at its exit just reduce load current. Be careful at the same time of breakdown of condensers of the filter if they are not calculated on such tension. If necessary replace them on others calculated on bigger tension.
4. At the power supply with the stabilizer on a chip of LM317 (T) for increase in output voltage increase the face value of the resistor which is switched on between the general wire and the operating conclusion and in proportion reduce the face value of the resistor which is switched on between an exit and the regulating conclusion.
5. At the stabilizer on a chip 78xx connect between the general wire and the general conclusion of a chip a stabilitron (the cathode to the general conclusion of a chip). Tension at the exit will increase by tension of stabilization of this stabilitron.
6. In the parametrical stabilizer for increase in tension replace a stabilitron with another, with the big tension of stabilization.
7. For increase in tension at the output of not stabilized power supply replace in it the bridge rectifier with tension doubler.
8. If tension at the output of the power supply needs to be increased without its any alteration, arrange after it a preorazovatel of any suitable design.
