In Russian there is a large number of homonyms (words which sound equally). At the same time such words can even belong to different parts of speech and be written absolutely differently. Can be an example ""in view of"" and ""in a look"". Not to be mistaken in the correct writing of such words, it is enough to adhere to a simple algorithm.
Instruction
1. The phrase "mean" is among set expressions, and ""in a look"" is always written separately here (irrespective of a context). For example, "the head made the employee a remark, meaning the contract which is incorrectly made by it". Or one more example: "There was a time when I was engaged in minerals, without meaning at all that sometime I will become a geologist".
2. The word "in view of" is written together if in value has causal (or investigative) communication. For example, "In view of good weather, all our big family gathered and went to the beach". Or: "In view of suddenly begun storm, we were forced to moor to the coast".
3. Not to confuse a noun "in a look" with a pretext "in view of", it is possible to check itself as follows. If it is about events which already took place or occur, and they can be replaced with a turn "for the reason", then before you a pretext: "in view of (for the reason) excellent mood, the grandmother baked tasty apple cake". Or: "He was ill much, in view of (for the reason) weak immunity.
4. In other case ""to mean"" something (events) or someone (people) – means to take something into account or to keep an eye (at least mentally). It already a noun combination to a pretext it is also written separately. For example, "the boat floated on an equal smooth surface of the beautiful lake in a view of the coast", "fish swam in an aquarium in plant species".
