According to scientific classification, people – one of animal species. At school at biology lessons children are told that people treat one of five biological kingdoms (that is the kingdom of animals), and further there is already more detailed classification: type – chordates, a class – mammals, group – primacies, family – hominids, a sort – people, well and, actually, a look – the homo sapiens (Homo sapiens). However the person is absolutely unique being which very strongly differs from all other animals.

1. First of all, only the person is able to speak. Scientists, comparing people to their closest "relatives" – a chimpanzee, found out that the throat at the person is located much below, than the monkey, and, besides, at people has a hypoglossal bone thanks to which they can say articulate sounds. By estimates of scientists, people learned to speak about 350 thousand years ago. Of course, animals among themselves too communicate, but their ways of communication strongly differ from what we are able to do, people.
2. The second important sign of the person is his ability to go vertically directly: the person orthograde (Homo erectus) who, presumably, was an ancestor of the modern person appeared in East Africa about 1.9 million years ago. Thanks to this skill at primitive people hands in which they could take the first tools were released – a stick, a stone, etc. However, it, in some way the "abnormal" property of the person, strongly complicated process of the birth of children as the basin of the person changed and became much narrower, and human babies have quite big brain and, respectively, the big head. Thanks to these features of people can be enough and use various tools much more dexterously.
4. It is not difficult to notice that all monkeys to whom our look is the closest are covered with dense wool, and the person in comparison with them looks just "naked". At the same time scientists claim that at people on each square centimeter of skin the same quantity of hair bulbs, as at other primacies is located. But "wool" of the person consists of much thinner, light and short hairs.
5. The most surprising part of a human body is his brain. Of course, there are animals and with where in the large volume of a brain, than at people, but only Homo sapiens is capable to abstract thinking thanks to what it is capable to create, pursue science and just logically to think.
