Many snowboarders and skiers like to jump. But, unfortunately, not in all cities there are good and qualitative springboards. Therefore everything should be done by the hands. Including kickers – small hopping springboards on long descents.
Instruction
1. For a start look at the scheme of the average springboard. On it Part A – dispersal is visible. It has to be rather abrupt and well rolled. Properly to roll it, only slide it crowd of skiers. Hummocks and poles remove the shovel.
2. Part B – the table of the springboard. On it the kicker E is also established. Before the kicker surely there has to be the flat site that at run on it there were no hard shots on legs of riding and the inertia necessary for the good jump wasn't lost. Pay special attention to this moment!
3. Part D is transit which the skier, as a rule, flies by. Its sizes depend on the land relief and the skill level riding. Educational transit shouldn't be more than 4-7 m. Part C intends for landing. Execute it with the sufficient bias that the gained speed well was extinguished. After the bias surely provide vykat – the place on which it is necessary to brake.
4. For creation of the kicker cut out from dense snow the shovel snow blocks of the average sizes and build of them the figure of the necessary sizes and forms. At construction periodically condense snow. If snow use improvised materials a little – stubs, branches, stones. Fill up all this with snow and condense it.
5. Look at the approximate scheme of the kicker. Part L length has to be not less than 2.5 meters, Part H height – not less than 1 meter. Width And the kicker – the more the better, but not less than 1 meter. You aren't lazy: it is better to dig through excess hour, than to feel grief of unsuccessful jumps.
6. Radius of the kicker is chosen by practical consideration. If the sizes of all springboard very big, the curve is necessary only in that place where the table passes into the kicker. The springboard is less, the need for the kicker curve is more. However excessively expressed radius of the kicker will constantly throw riding on turnover.
