In domestic veterinary medicine it is not accepted to give the general anesthesia at castration of pigs. It is considered that it has an adverse effect on blood clotting and the subsequent healing. Stick intramuscularly tranquilizer (for example, aminazine) and process the operational field spirit solution of iodine or 70% spirit solution.
3. Local anesthesia is carried out by 5% by novocaine solution. It is injected in thickness of each testicle (2-5ml) and also in the top part of a scrotum where there pass vessels and seed kanatik. After carrying out local anesthesia wait about a minute. Make a longitudinal section at the bottom of a scrotum on the right testicle, without cutting the general cover. 4. Repeat the procedure with the second testicle. Scrotum skin at little pigs is not sewn up. The wounds should be treated terramitsiny or similar spray or to powder with an antibiotic. At adult boars previously sew up scrotum skin, having left below a small wound for an exudate drain.
