Walk in the woods is not only pleasant pastime, search of mushrooms and berries. Sometimes outdoors it is possible to meet also forest inhabitants, and, not all from them are harmless. The danger to people is constituted by a wild boar.
How to prevent danger
That it was not necessary to escape from boars, it is better to prevent danger and not to wander in those places where they are found. To learn that on this site of the forest these animals meet, it is possible on traces: to the doubled sharp hooves. A forest laying in an aura of their dwelling of an ischerchen short strips about ten centimeters wide – search result wild boars of acorns and nuts. Wild boars love and to bathe after a rain. A pool which bottom is pitted by hooves – one more certificate that for walks, search of mushrooms and gathering berries it is better to choose other place.
Adult wild boar – huge, the smelling animal with long canines is not too pleasant. Another matter – small curious striped pylons. Directed by thirst to explore the world around, they can also leave to the person and if people do not see them, to study supplies and equipment. What darlings small animals would not seem to you, do not come to them into contact, nearby there is their mother. Having noticed the cubs approaching you, it is better to change the direction immediately.
How to escape from a boar
Contrary to the furious appearance, the wild boar has no desire to kill any person who met at it on the way. Having caught sight in the forest of people, he, most likely, will try to take refuge in bushes and will advance to the attack only in case you go directly to that place where he hides. It is impossible to escape from a furious wild boar: the animal is capable to catch up even with the cyclist. The most certain chance to escape – to get on a tree. Boars are not able to climb, to jump high. If there is an opportunity, choose a shady tree on which you can nestle: the furious wild boar is capable to miss the victim in the bottom of several hours. However for the lack of the choice grab any trunk and tighten legs closer to a breast: there is a chance that the boar will fly by. In case the animal, having run by inertia further, was developed and prepares for the second calling, try on a smooth trunk as if on a rope to rise as it is possible above. Frightens off wild boars and noise. Having caught sight in the distance of a wild boar, begin to bawl songs, you knock a cover about a pan, loudly laugh. In general, it is recommended to make as much as possible loud sounds throughout all walk – animals simply will not poke into your party. And here you should not shoot at a boar if you are not sure of the forces: the wounded wild boar is extremely aggressive. Better make couple of precautionary shots in air – it will force an animal to retire.
