Keeping of a domestic cat brings not only joy and pleasure. Sometimes owners should face various problems. One of them — elimination of an unpleasant smell from a cat.
Instruction
1. Remove all liquid (urine) with a paper towel or a napkin. Then at once wipe the place with bactericidal means. They well eliminate a fresh smell. Usual laundry soap, vodka or alcohol, fabric softeners, tea tea leaves will be suitable for this purpose. Or prepare the concentrated soda solution. Moisten a fabric napkin in solution and carefully process a surface. At once throw out the used napkin.
2. Dissolve vinegar in water in a proportion 1 to 4. Rub means in a spot, get wet with a napkin and powder with soda. Mix 1 tablespoon of liquid for washing of ware and about 100 ml of peroxide of hydrogen. Apply means from a spray over soda on the soiled place. Remove the remains with a clean damp sponge or the washing vacuum cleaner.
3. Part vinegar in water, add juice of one lemon and several drops of essential oil of a lime or orange. Spray means on a surface with an urine smell. Rub a floor fresh lemon or an orange-peel. Many cats do not transfer a smell of a citrus.
4. Prepare strong solution of potassium permanganate. Accurately wipe with it the soiled places. In such solution it is also possible to rinse dark clothes for removal of a smell. Only check at first that it will not be painted.
5. Make sure that the means chosen by you for elimination of a smell will not spoil the processed surface. For a start put it on less noticeable site.
6. It is possible to disguise a smell various fragrances — dried greens, fresh ground coffee or aromatic oils. However these means solve a problem only for some time.
7. Do not use chlorine-containing substances for mopping. They break sense of smell of an animal, can cause intoxication. Also you should not spray perfumery products, urea, liquid ammonia on the smelling place.
