Decorative rabbits are pleasant to both adults, and children, there are no people, indifferent to them. They are so lovely that even the most stale person has a desire by all means to take away a little big-eared small animal home. But you should not think that it is as simple to support rabbits in house conditions as, for example, cats. Decorative dwarfish rabbits are ideal for contents in the house. They are unpretentious, do not demand a lot of place, they can even be accustomed to cleanliness and to a toilet! Having made the decision to bring a rabbit to the house, previously study some rules of leaving and keeping of these animals.
Instruction
1. Until the animal got used to people, handle with it extremely with care. To children 7-8 years are younger you should not trust care for rabbits.
2. You watch a health of teeth and the pet's claws. Put in a cage of a branch of trees, and cut nails special nippers.
3. The cage for a rabbit has to be rather spacious, put two trays for a toilet and an automatic drinking bowl there (usual rabbits often overturn). Protect an animal from drafts and direct sunshine. Once a week the dwelling of a rabbit needs to be washed, trays should be disinfected after each application.
4. Periodically let out a rabbit "to take a walk" and warm up, in the wild nature the animals actively move.
5. Provide the pet with clear fresh water and hay. Offering a rabbit new vegetables and fruit, consider, these animals are very sensitive to pesticides. You do not feed a big-eared small animal with a wet grass and hay, it can cause an abdominal distension that is very hazardous to health of rabbits.
6. Every three months do prevention of internal and external parasites, and for protection against dangerous diseases do special inoculations. It is desirable to address to the certified veterinary clinic in this case.
7. It is not recommended to bathe a rabbit, however, in certain cases it is possible to wash pads. If there is a need to wash up a rabbit entirely, try not to wet ears, and after bathing carefully dry up an animal.
