Water in it has to be room temperature, surely clear (water in a kupalka is recommended to be changed at least once in two days). As necessary your pet himself will get into water and with pleasure to lap.
3. If the bird ignores a kupalka or its feathers are strongly polluted, then it is necessary to use a shower. Experts I advise to remove from a cage of a feeding trough and a drinking bowl, to carry a cage in a bathtub and to include a shower so that a part of a cage appeared under water. Thus the bird itself can climb under water jets.
4. There are situations when the bird refuses flatly to bathe independently. Then it is possible to pick up carefully a bird, to carry her in a bathtub and, carefully watering with a shower of room temperature, to rinse dirty. Shampoo at the same time is not recommended to be used.
5. It is also possible to try to accustom a bird to wash by means of a spray. For this purpose put the trigger sprayer closer to a cage, let the bird will get used to her look. Then gradually begin to puff on a bird. Do it gradually. For example, once, tomorrow two scattered today. Thus gradually bring to full blotting of plumage.
6. Take care also of the correct removal of moisture from a pen-type cover. For this purpose accurately pick up the wet pet, wrap up in a soft towel. As soon as it becomes wet, replace with dry.
