Aquarium fishes, as well as any other living beings, require the correct care and care. Cases of mass death of inhabitants of an aquarium at the beginning aquarians are not a rarity. For health of small fishes there are no trifles. Here all is important: structure and water temperature, illumination level, quantity and quality of a forage, timely cleaning of an aquarium and many other things. To avoid mistakes and disappointment at the initial stage of aquarium husbandry, it is worth giving preference to unpretentious species of fish which do not demand special care, special knowledge and heavy expenses.

1. One of the most unpretentious types of aquarian inhabitants are all the famous guppies – tiny viviparous small fishes of various flowers and colors. Guppies differ in high resistance to a condition of water, fluctuation of temperatures. Small fishes in food are not choosy. And still these creations are extremely prolific. The smallest aquarium will even be suitable for keeping of the guppy. So, for comfortable dwelling of seven-nine individuals enough only ten liters of water. Thanks to modesty and ability to survival in difficult conditions, the guppy became the first aquarium fishes who visited space.
2. If guppies seem to you too ordinary, pay attention to sword-bearers. These bright coral small fishes will become the real decoration of any aquarium! Sword-bearers are undemanding to composition of water and quality of food. However these representatives of the underwater world have aggressive character. Quite often males of sword-bearers, competing for food and females, organize the real fights in which the large number of small fishes perishes.
3. Cockerels are permanently popular among the beginning aquarians. These aquarium fishes differ in the bright color of tails and fins similar to plumage of birds. Atmospheric air is necessary for cockerels for breath therefore if this species of small fishes only in an aquarium, then it is possible to do without installation of the compressor. In food quality both the live forage, and artificial flakes approaches. The only minus of keeping of cockerels consists in their troublemaking temper therefore if in an aquarium there are several males, fights and death of small fishes not to avoid.
4. Perhaps, the most peaceful small fishes are somik. Among all aquarian inhabitants the catfishes are most unpretentious, besides they serve as hospital attendants, purifying soil from the remains of food and waste products. These small fishes are sluggish and do not pose a threat for the neighbors. However it is not recommended to support catfishes in one aquarium with predators and aggressors. When choosing somik it is worth paying attention on koridoratus. This look, besides branchiate, has intestinal breath that rather long time in the conditions of periodic shutdown of aeration allows it to live.
5. The small gregarious small fishes capable to recover any aquarium are of special interest. Are among the most unpretentious danio and neon. Danio is the small small fish, as a rule, who is not growing more than five-six centimeters in length. For the maintenance of six-eight copies of rather small aquarium of ten liters. They are not choosy to food: eat as a natural forage (water fleas, a crank), and flakes. These small fishes perfectly get on among themselves and with other inhabitants of an aquarium. Neon is also undemanding to food and easily transfers temporary lack of a forage. By the nature these small fishes are very playful and peaceful, however they should be protected from more aggressive types. Neon requires the large volume of water. For ten individuals the aquarium spaciousness of 50 liters will become the comfortable habitat.
