Pyruvic acid – the chemical compound relating to organic ketonic acids. Substance with light acetic smell in natural look can be found in honey and citruses. Pyruvic acid has the updating and peeling properties therefore it is often used for superficial or median peeling of skin.
Indications and contraindications
The pyroracemic peeling (one more name - "green") is carried out by means of the substance received from grape acid. It contains in human body and works very softly. The procedure is ideal for age skin with noticeable wrinkles, primary pigmenty spots, dimness and insufficient elasticity. The superficial or deep peeling is possible, the choice depends on condition of the person and individual recommendations. The popularity of the procedure is high, pyroracemic structures managed to eclipse even the well-known carboxylic peeling.
At the correct performance the procedure is capable:
- to remove the keratosic layer of skin, to make it more susceptible to further leaving;
- to smooth small mimic wrinkles, to slightly pull together enlarged pores;
- to clarify fabrics, to make complexion more equal;
- to remove excessive fat content.
In processing by acids the died-off skin cages are removed, time opens, providing normal air exchange and removal of skin fat. At the same time epidermis intensively absorbs moisture, becomes more elastic, tightened. The person looks younger and looks well-groomed. Important role of acid procedures - the accelerated updating of fabrics and stimulation of formation of new collagenic fibers.
The peeling is recommended at the first signs of aging and various cosmetic defects. However it has also contraindications. Processing by acids is not recommended at:
- pregnancy and feeding by breast;
- to asthma;
- diabetes;
- oncological and autoimmune pathologies;
- injuries of skin;
- infectious diseases of any nature.
Peelings cannot also be carried out at temperature increase, exacerbations of chronic diseases and feeling sick.
As there takes place the procedure
Most often mixes for peeling not only pyroracemic, but also lactic acid is included. Such combination works more effectively. Proportions depend on condition of skin. For rejuvenation and clarification medicines in equal shares undertake, increase in percent of pyruvic acid is applied to the solution of the expressed age problems: removals of wrinkles, tightening, deep moisturizing.
When causing structure on skin of molecule of means come into contact with upper layer of epidermis, attracting and dissolving the died-off cages. Then acids get more deeply, influencing on term. The procedure lasts not less than 15 minutes, more exact time is fixed by the cosmetologist.
After the termination of peeling the structure is washed away neutralized liquids. During the recovery period the face is processed disinfecting medicines and the moisturizing creams. Good protection against the sun is obligatory.
The pyroracemic peeling is carried out by courses. Superficial drawing repeat to 7 times, at the same time break between sessions – 7-10 days. Average and intensive peelings do three times at an interval of 28 days.
