The character of the child is built up since early childhood and constantly changes. The kid tries "to find" the place in this world, using various manners of behavior. What character as a result the child will have - in many respects depends on his education by parents.

1. If you punish the child, surely explain what he is punished for and why so it is impossible to do. If the child does not understand the bases for punishment, it seems to it not fair. In that case he can come to a conclusion that it is possible to apply punishment to people just like that when he to it takes in head.
2. Establish a number of rules obligatory for performance, and not only the child, but also parents. It will help to form character of the child correctly. Explain to the kid why it is necessary to follow rules of the house, at school, in public places. Think up and discuss together punishments which will follow for non-compliance with each rule. Thus, the child since childhood will learn to adhere to certain norms and borders in behavior, words, acts, will develop in himself discipline and responsibility.
3. You remember, the probability to form character of the child above in full families, than in the family consisting of one parent. The child has to receive the identical number of care and participation, both from mom, and from dad, at the same time it is evident to study relationship with an opposite sex. In most cases, the child in the future follows not the words of parents, but their example.
4. Perceive the child as the adult personality. Consult on him and ask the opinion concerning family, the house, school, hobbies, etc. Insist on independence in duties which on its age are assigned to it. Thus, you will create in children's character the major line – persistence in achievement of goals and accustom him to economy.
5. Constantly monitor changes in behavior of the child, especially in the conditions of changes in his life. Having in due time noticed positive or negative trends, you will be able quickly to react to them – to develop or stop them.
