1. Do not give paracetamol to newborn children. During this period any its form of release is contraindicated to kids. Medicine begins to work approximately in 30 minutes, and in 4 hours its action stops. Remember that it is possible to give to children paracetamol with an interval of not less than 4-6 hours. If there was a need of frequent application, alternate it to the Ibuprofen.
2. Keep in mind that the course of treatment paracetamol as febrifuge should not exceed 3 days, and soothing – 5 days.
3. Pay due attention to a form of production of medicine. Paracetamol is produced in the form of capsules, tablets, drops, syrup, sparkling and chewable tablets, solutions for intramuscular injections and acceptance inside, rectal suppositories. To children most often appoint candles and syrup. For kids till 1 year medicine can be dissolved in a small bottle with water or in tea. As for tablets, to children 6 years are younger than them do not give.
4. Do not forget also about contraindications to use of paracetamol.
