Teachers do not retrain the first grader who writes with the left hand, patiently treat his features, but can not always create the most favorable conditions for training of such children.

Instruction
1. Estimate tendency of the child to a levorukost: whether there are in family or among the immediate family left-handed. The more such people, the more probably that at the child this feature will be shown too.
2. Observe the baby: what he tries to touch a toy, most often takes hand what fingers in a mouth. At this age the acquired levorukost cannot be shown yet, but genetic features can already be observed.
3. Keep track of features of feeding of the child. If mother most often nurses the child right, then his left hand is long time pressed to her body and remains inactive. If to consider also – eats features of sucking of the child it is long, without hurrying, then time a zazhatiya of a hand increases. Formation of a levorukost will melt the most possible.
4. Do not worry if up to 3-4 years the child cannot decide on use of the leading hand – it is normal for younger preschool children. Their tendency to be researchers forces to use evenly both the right, and left hand, and even two at the same time.
5. Hold testing of the child, using a number of tasks for definition not only the leading hand, but also the leading, more active cerebral hemisphere since the levorukost – is a consequence of physiological feature of the person. For the left-handed kid the receiving the indicators indicating activity of the right hemisphere is more probable.
6. Suggest the child to draw the same image serially the right, left hand. The result is estimated not on the speed of execution of the drawing, and on a result: the leading hand the child draws more slowly, but more precisely.
7. Suggest to perform not less than 4-5 tasks: - to put hands in the lock; will point the upper left finger to a levorukost; - to clap in palms so that one palm was below, and another above; - to bind hands on a breast and to look what brush of a hand will appear outside; - to aim at a target for firing from a children's gun: will point an open left eye to a levorukost. What more results will indicate the leading left hand by, especially it is probable that the child – the lefthander.
