The overland part of the planet Earth is not up to the end studied by the person. The oceans borrowing ¾ all surface are explored hardly percent on 20. And the last to steam of centuries when the person seeks to learn everything and about everything, and science and technology violently develop, riddles pour in abundance. For example, the phenomenon which in 70-80 years of the XX century fairly excited and even a scarecrow of employees of the IMF, at least, of two leading world powers - the USSR and the USA - Quakers.

For the first time unknown signals were heard hydroacoustics of some ships of allies even in the years of World War II. Decided that it is some new developments of the opponent that caused concern and even panic. But no continuation followed. Materials coded and forgot.
The Soviet sailors faced the unfamiliar phenomenon in the early fifties. The unknown underwater signals accepted generally in the low-frequency range did not give in to identification. The geography of the phenomenon extended: if at first they were heard in Atlantic, then later - already in the Barents, Okhotsk, Baltic seas.
In the 70th years the unknown signals reminding croaking were fixed practically in all regions of the World Ocean. For characteristic sounding the Soviet sailors "christened" them Quakers.
The former commanders of nuclear submarines remember that Quakers sometimes literally accompanied atomic submarines to an exit from any site of the ocean. An impression of rationality of objects was made. It seemed, they arise upon contact, actively reacting to the hydroacoustic signals sent from a board – change tonality, the place, depth. It was not possible to find a signal source. All this very much irritated submariners. After all, there was an order ordering collection of information on the matter. Later at the request of the Soviet command the group of scientists who began to be engaged in studying NGO and NZO – unknown floating and sound objects was created.

The strange things occurring in the ocean disturbed as well the American military.
Since 1963 the Americans repeatedly found the huge submarines possessing high high-speed (300 and more than a km/h) and maneuverable qualities. Objects quickly and deeply plunged and so quickly emerged.
Also other not less strange things, for example, "wheels of a devil", the shining sigarovidny objects, UFOs which are taking off directly from water and with a huge speed disappearing in the sky were observed.
In the ocean repeatedly noticed a strange luminescence - the waters beating from thickness beams, the rotating light spots in the form of wheels with curved needles. Sometimes they reached the huge sizes - them it was visible even from space.
Any of the called phenomena did not receive a scientific explanation still though perhaps that all this "links of one chain". By the way, in the mid-eighties Quakers disappeared.
Hypotheses
The first that assumed: Quakers are new developments of Americans, global network of detection and tracking the Soviet submarines. Of course, installation of the stationary lighthouse a problem was not, but there were too many Quakers, they were mobile and, therefore, had to have the engine, the power supply and to be operated by someone. Creation of the whole network of such objects – too expensive pleasure, even for the USA. It is also impossible to write off strange things in the ocean for technical progress.
When studying ancient records it became clear that sailors observed a mysterious luminescence on water several centuries ago. Europeans called it "a wheel of a devil".
Following hypothesis: Quakers are earlier unknown ocean animals. Well, perhaps. In favor of this version it is possible to provide stories by some Soviet submariners. They remember that they sometimes after a campaign on a covering of the boat found some shining substance of obviously biological origin. Gradually under the influence of sunshine the luminescence stopped. Fantastic version: the underwater civilization unknown to the person lives in depths of the ocean. It is necessary only a helpless gesture to make – depths of the ocean are remote and are not studied, and if desired and for supporters of this hypothesis the arguments can be scared up. The alien version among participants and eyewitnesses of those events is not popular. The shining wheels, huge submarines, Quakers – it is possible, all these phenomena are connected. What is are Quakers? They are not found, and the answer is not known.
