- - fabric cut.
Instruction
1. Two frames (big and small), wheels, axes and a cradle from a fabric cut are making carriages. Begin work with production of laths for frames. Thickness of each lath has to be 1 cm, width – 1.7 cm. Use for this purpose a strong beech or a birch.
2. Round the ends of laths by means of a file, smooth out them together with sides an emery paper. Drill openings in laths: for axes of wheels, for the handle, for a lath of a back and in junctions of two frames. Smooth out edges of openings.
3. Make on one crossbeam for big and small frames. Diameter of a crossbeam is 1.4 cm. Ledge length on the end of a crossbeam is equal to thickness of laths. If you do not find round bars for production of laths, make laths of rectangular or square shape and grind off their corners by means of a knife, a file or a plane.
4. Insert crossbeams into openings of laths and paste. Fasten frames by means of screws, having screwed in them in a crossbeam of a frame of the smaller size through openings of laths of a frame of the bigger size. Track that frames at the same time were easily turned relatively each other.
5. Insert into the lower openings of laths of an axis from a thick metal bar, a round core or strong wood. From the outer side put on washers and attach wheels. They can be made of metal tins from under lollipops or canned food. In each can place a wooden disk and nail up.
6. In the turned-out assembly drill an opening under an axis and collect a design, having greased with glue an internal cut of a wooden insert and the site of an axis on which the wheel will be located. Close to bank a cover.
7. Sew a cradle from fabric pieces. Put a piece for a part of a seat at the edges and sew zakraina. Inside insert a level from thin plywood for giving to a rigidity seat. Supply bendings of a longitudinal piece with buttons by means of which the cradle will fasten to crossbeams and frames.
