The adult is not always ready to speak for a divine subject with children. All space in which there lives a person is impregnated with religious symbols – architecture monuments, painting, music, literature. Ignoring religious questions, you deprive of children of an opportunity to learn cultural and spiritual experience which was accumulated by mankind.
Instruction
1. Telling about God to the child, do not hide the opinion or its absence, otherwise he will feel falseness and it will be an obstacle for its personal development. Coercion to belief or to atheism will negatively affect the child. Tell to the child what you possess.
2. Explain to the child that there are no bad and good religions. Show tolerance and not categoriality in stories about other faiths. The choice of belief or refusal of it is will of the person.
3. You speak about that, God created people for happiness and teaches people to love each other. God wrote through prophets the Bible where stated rules by which it conforms to live. It is possible to begin from 4–5 years. This age of the child is sensitive on the metaphysical ideas. They easily perceives the idea of existence of God. The interest of children has subject character.
4. Teach the child that God everywhere and, knows everything anywhere and can make everything (from 5–7 years). The child is interested in questions where he was until mom gave birth to him and where it will leave after death. The child can believe in existence of abstract concepts and imagine them.
5. Tell children at the age of 7-11 years the meaning of ceremonies and religious norms. The child it is necessary to teach to distinguish good from the evil and to direct it in assimilation of useful Christian precepts. It is possible to tell that God assumes that there were negative events because the free will of the person for him is sacred.
6. During the teenage period of 12-15 years explain the spiritual maintenance of any religion. The teenager can understand that God - the being loving and fair. God exists out of a concept of time, he existed always. Address classics L.N. Tolstoy, K.I. Chukovsky who in a form, available and interesting to children, stated the main ideas and the history Bibles.
7. Train in the child to address God through a prayer. The prayer has psychological value as trains in skills of a reflection, ability to sum up the results in a day, to understanding of the feelings, emotions, desires, instills confidence in tomorrow.
