Besides, if the pregnant woman abused alcohol, then it is quite possible that the child will be born with such disease as "a fetal alcoholic syndrome". This disease is shown in the child's weight at the birth below norm, in backward physical development, in underdeveloped area of a jaw, and, at last, in violation of functioning of vitals, a brain and nervous system of the kid.
Thus, confirmations to the fact that pregnant women cannot take alcoholic drinks there is, a lot of, that there cannot be even a thought of a possibility of their use at least in small doses. So if to the woman the healthy posterity is more important, it is worth refraining from alcohol during pregnancy, and it is even better for the rest of life.
