This mob excellent health (even fifty hearts) and very high growth (almost in three blocks) is designed to protect residents of the village of NPC from different dangers. In relation to the player this being is neutral (at least until the gamer does harm to ""peasants"").
At its killing about seven iron ingots drop out. Therefore many experienced gamers found benefit of presence at a game of iron golems, constantly receiving from them iron. At some production of such resource reaches several thousand units per hour. To carry out similar, they usually construct a special bioreactor - a so-called farm of iron.
The special structure of the similar multilevel building where the galleries which are not bearing any function from doors are installed, plus existence on limited space of couple of countrymen excites a powerful instinct of reproduction in iron golems. Meanwhile the limited space of that place where there are "peasants", interferes with emergence of above-mentioned mob exactly there. Therefore they spaunitsya outside, in the building adjacent which is specially arranged with the player with previous where they are expected by a trap in the form of the water flow bringing them directly to a lava to certain death.
Similar construction - quite large-scale enterprise requiring considerable amount of different materials. First of all, it is multi-colored woolen blocks, wooden doors, glass, water and a lava (they are taken from sources buckets), the sticky piston and redstone. However, as options of construction of a farm of iron exists much, a specific set of resources will depend on the selected way of its construction.

It is possible to stop on such design. For a start at height approximately in eight blocks the site from color wool (for example, yellow) 20 is above the ground built to 20 blocks. Over it walls in height three cubes are built on (it is impossible more - differently golems will begin to spaunitsya directly there). Inside on corners squares on two on two blocks, but not directly become on the basis of, and it is a little over it, kind of in air.
At walls of this design water is filled in (but so that the central square remained it not busy). Then red squares break, and on their place it is also necessary to fill in liquid - that it flew down there as if from certain invisible cubes. Further corners of a construction need to be raised by pair of blocks up - better red wool. From these columns the superstructure of similar height, but so that each six squares were marked in the color - for example, blue and red becomes extensively. However at the same time it is important that angular columns were adjoined only by groups of blue columns.
The last need to be broken and on their place to set the corresponding quantity of wooden doors (it will be simulation of the village of NPC). Further around doors and red blocks that are between them, on an internal surface and at the same level it is necessary to build ""ring"" from yellow wool. Site six on five of similar material outside gets a job on one of the short parties of it, at the level of six wall blocks of red wool. It executes walls in height two blocks, and then on corners water is filled in. Through these openings it is necessary to go down on three blocks and to make there a glass tunnel (which ceiling will be a floor of the top woolen construction). In this tunnel water is filled in, and through equal intervals (approximately on five-six blocks) for a waterproofing end-to-end to glass walls wooden plates are put. At edge of a corridor they should tear off water flow.
