Gate in the world of Minecraft — one of the most functional units. With their help it is possible to equip the shelter for the cattle, to make a loophole or to create confidential pass. As well as normal doors, they can be activated by a stone red signal.
Why gate in Minecraft are necessary?
Gate (or a gate) were created especially for receiving adjustable passes in fences. They slightly higher than one block that does not allow the majority of animals and monsters to jump over them. Usually players use gate for arrangement of shelters with pets. In certain cases with their help decorate windows or create rather protected loopholes. Gate in closed form block pass to any creations, except those who are able to jump high (it concerns horses and spiders). In opened - do not interfere with passing of any beings and the player.
Fence, as well as gate, practically nobody can jump. For this reason fence with it shelters with pets to save them from the attacks of aggressive monsters.
Gate cannot be broken by aggressive monsters like skeletons or the zombie, but can collapse from close detonation of a kriper. At the same time the same zombies and skeletons quite easily break wooden doors at the high level of complexity. Therefore experienced players prefer to use gate, in view of that resources on them leaves even less, than on a normal door. Besides gate allow to survey space in front of them. Doors do not give such opportunity.
How to construct a gate?
Sticks and blocks of boards will be necessary for you for creation of gate. It is easy to get these resources even at the most initial stage of a game as trees grow practically everywhere. Find the next tree, sort its trunk on wood blocks, having clamped the left mouse button. Consider that the radius of your action is only three blocks.
Open a window of the character, find craft cell (or creations of objects). It represents space two on two blocks where it is possible to place different materials. Put wood blocks in one of slots to receive boards. Then fill all four slots with boards, it will give you a workbench.
The fence is often used for creation of decorative lamps and design of windows. In the latter case it is excellent replacement to more expensive glass.
Put a workbench on the earth, open it. Put two boards one above another to create sticks. Sticks — one of basic materials. Practically all tools are created with their help. Now place sticks at the edges of two lower horizontal lines, and put boards in the central cells. So you receive gate. To make a fence in which these gate also should be installed fill the lower two thirds of area of craft with sticks.
