Provide Internet access of several computers, having only one cable of provider in the order, it is possible in several ways. The equipment set also depends on the scheme of the network created by you.

- Router or network hub.
Instruction
1. Let's consider a situation when the router was used for creation of your local area network. Connect a cable of the Internet to this equipment, using the Internet (WAN) connector for this purpose. Select any computer or the laptop connected to the router via the LAN connector and include it.
2. Open the browser and enter the router IP address into its address bar. Before you the menu of settings of the device will open. Pass to the Internet Setup point (Setup of network). Fill the required fields as you would make it, carrying out connection to the Internet from the computer. Enter your login and the password, specify access point for connection to the server of provider.
3. Include the DHCP function, save settings and reboot the router.
4. Now we will consider a situation when for creation of network the hub was used. This equipment cannot be set up for connection to the Internet and the more so to activate DHCP.
5. Select one of computers connected to the network hub. Connect to it a cable of the Internet. Make setup of connection with the Internet according to requirements of your provider.
6. Open settings of the local area network formed by means of the network hub. On this computer it is necessary to fill only one field - the IP address. Enter into it 192.168.0.1.
7. Pass to settings of connection to the Internet. Open the Access tab. Allow internet connection sharing to all computers which are a part of a local area network.
8. Pass to any other computer in this network. Open settings of the TCP/IP protocol. Enter IP address 192.168.0.N where N – any digit from 2 to 255. For receiving the Internet access to you needs to fill the Main Gateway and Preferred DNS Server fields. Enter into them the value corresponding to the IP address of the first computer.
9. Repeat the algorithm described in the previous step for all other laptops and computers. Consider that the first computer should be switched on that the others got Internet access.
