The satellite asynchronous and synchronous Internet is popular, and sometimes in the unique way of connection to the Internet. It allows to configure Internet connection in those places where it is impossible to carry out a telephone cable or there is no mobile communication. The most popular is asynchronous connection.
Instruction
1. Configure land connection: Dial-up, ADSL, GPRS, dedicated line or another. Learn about it at the provider or mobile operator.
2. Configure the DVB card. Install it in the free slot of the motherboard of the computer. The card should have space for free circulation of air around it. During the work the satellite tuner heats up. That there were no noises, the card should be placed further from the slot with the TV tuner.
3. Install the driver from the disk going together with the DVB card. It will be defined as the network device. After that in the lower right corner, in a tray, the red sphere will appear.
4. We click an icon of the sphere and we select Setup4PC value.
5. We click "Add".
6. We enter the name of the necessary satellite, we confirm the choice with the OK button.
7. We click Transponder Management and in the opening window we click "Add".
8. We enter the required transponder for the selected satellite. At the correct setup of the antenna on a tab the line of the signal level will appear.
9. Configure proxy connection:
- select the Data Services button in the Setup4PC window;
- select a name of provider;
- click "Add" and enter its name.
10. In the Transponder window click "Add", select into what entered frequencies. We enter a transponder name for detection in a tray, we click "OK".
11. We enter the required value into PID List, we click "Insert", we confirm "OK". We close the Close button.
12. Configure "Network connection":
- come into "Properties";
- select "General", the TCP/IP protocol;
- press the Properties button;
- enter the IP address and surely a subnet mask;
- confirm with the OK button.
13. To configure Internet connection, the Globax program is required. Download it from the Internet, enter its directory and open a notepad the globax.conf file, enter settings and save them.
14. Configure the web browser:
- on a tab "Service", select "Internet Options";
- then the Connections tab also select land connection;
- click "Setup" and enter the address and port;
- click "OK".
