The majority of modern mobile computers is allocated with the module which is built in by Wi-fi. Existence of this device allows to be connected to wireless networks. For implementation of connection with access point it is necessary to configure the Wi-fi module correctly.
Instruction
1. Install drivers for Wi-Fi of the adapter of your mobile computer. Pass to the official site of developers of the laptop. Open the Center of Loadings or Drivers tab. Enter the name of model of the mobile computer and download the offered utilities.
2. Install the program driver and reboot the laptop. Open the Network and Sharing Center or Network Connections menu. Pass to the list of network connections. Click with the right button an icon of a wireless network and select the Include item.
3. Open the Control of Wireless Adapters menu. Pass to the Add point, having clicked the corresponding key. After opening of the new menu click the Create a Profile of Network Manually point.
4. Fill out the offered table. Enter a name of network and specify the password. These data should correspond in accuracy the parameter of that access point to which you want to connect the laptop. Select type of safety (WEP, WPA) and specify type of encryption (AES, TKIP).
5. Press Next and install ticks near the Be Connected even if Broadcasting of SSID Is Not Conducted and To Automatically Establish Connection points. Save parameters of connection and close the menu of settings.
6. Open the list of network connections. Click with the right mouse button an icon of the wireless adapter and select the Connect item. Select the necessary wireless access point and click "Connection".
7. For creation of computer-computer network select the corresponding item in the Adding of Network menu. In this case it is possible not to use at all encryption because this channel means connection only of two devices.
