Instruction
1. First of all, it is necessary to make sure that on your personal computers the password is set (on accounts). If you do not have it, then it is necessary to put it. Otherwise you can have a set of various problems connected with safety. It is possible to set the password as follows: The Start-up panel, "Control panel" opens. Then it is necessary to find fields in this panel: "User accounts" the Change of the Password item is also selected.
2. It is necessary to assign to all computers the names. To assign to the personal computer a name, it is necessary to find the My Computer icon and to right-click on it. In the appeared context menu to select "Properties". Further, it is necessary to find the Additional Parameters of a System tab where there is a Computer name field. This field is subject to obligatory changes. In the corresponding line, as a computer name, it is necessary to enter PC1 (on other PC2, PC3 computers, etc.). After the name is assigned to the computer, it is necessary to establish a daw that the computer is a member of the working group and to enter there WORKGROUP. After that to reboot.
3. After assignment the computers of names need to assign also the IP address (each computer). To carry out it, it is necessary to find in "Control panel" "Network and Sharing Center". Further, in the Changes of Parameters of the Adapter tab it is necessary to select a local area network (it should not be marked with a red cross). Right-clicking, it is necessary to come into "Properties". Here the following fields are specified: "The internet protocol version 4" and "Use the following IP address". In the IP addresses field to enter 192.168.0.26.
4. After the IP addresses and names are assigned, it is possible to start connection test between computers. This point is not less important as after connection test between computers it is possible to understand — whether the local area network works. Check can be made by input of the cmd command which registers in the line "Execute". After the command line opens, in a window it will be necessary to enter the ping 132.168.0.26 command and then, to click the ENTER key. If the answer is received from the first computer, then it means that communication between two computers is. Check needs to be made also with other computers which will be in one local area network. If the answer is received from each computer, then it is possible to get to work. Otherwise it is necessary to carry out search of an error.
