Instruction
1. Download and install the Advanced Virtual COM Port program. For this purpose open the browser and follow the link http://www.advancedvirtualcomport.com/files/AdvancedVirtualComPort.zip. This program includes network and local functions of virtual port COM. It can create virtual port and join it through a virtual cable of the modem, through network or the Internet. These ports created in the program look as well as real. They work similarly. Start the program, perform the procedure of creation of port: click "create port", select a source of the created port. Follow instructions of the program. Further come into "Control panel", select "Device manager", there trace emergence of new port in the list of ports.
2. Download the driver for virtual port to put virtual com-port on the computer, from the website http://com0com.sourceforge.net/. Unpack archive with the driver in the folder, connect a cable with the USB connector to the computer. Other end of a cable where two DB-9 connectors, do not connect anywhere. Further the equipment will automatically be installed. Select the option "carry out search of the suitable driver for the device", with the indication of the place of its placement. Further press the Browse button and select the downloaded driver. In the following window click "Is ready". After the USB Serial Converter installation the installation wizard of a serial port will be started. Repeat installation process of the equipment by means of the master of the new equipment. Reboot to make virtual com port. Come into "Control panel", "System", click "Device manager" and trace emergence of new port.
3. Download and install the Virtual Null Mode program. Creation of virtual port com by means of this program represents rather simple procedure. After program installation the program will suggest to create the new device, select "Yes", further select port numbers, click the OK button in a window of the program and in a dialog box. Further the program will install virtual ports on the computer. Reboot the PC, come into "Device manager" and check emergence of new ports.
