There is quite large number of the techniques allowing the computer administrator to limit or prohibit other users Internet access. Most of them use standard tools of the Windows operating system and do not mean attraction of third-party software.
Instruction
1. Use one of the simplest opportunities of access restriction in the Internet provided by the Windows operating system - open the main menu, having clicked "Start-up" and pass into the All Programs point. Open the link "Standard" and start the Windows Conductor application. Pass on the way of saving the used web browser and expand its folder. Open a context menu of the executable file by click of the right mouse button and specify the Properties point.
2. Go to the Safety tab of the opened dialog box and select the option "In addition" in bottom pane. Use the Owner tab of the following dialog box to define the current owner of the selected file, and click "Change" to assign themselves the only owner. Apply checkboxes on fields of necessary permissions and the bans to the selected users.
3. Return to the main menu of a system and cause "Execute" a dialog for implementation of alternative operation of the ban of use of the browser to the selected user. Enter regedit value in the Open field and confirm a command of start of the Editor of the Register utility with clicking of the OK button.
4. Open a branch HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesExplorer and expand the Editing menu of a top panel of tools of a window of the editor. Specify the New point and use the option "DWORD Value". Conduct disallowrun value in the field "Type" and confirm the choice with clicking of a function key of Enter.
5. Disclose the created parameter doubleclick of a mouse and enter value 1 in the line "Value of Data". Confirm the choice with clicking of the OK button and create the new subsection in the same branch. For this purpose open a context menu of the section by click of the right mouse button and specify the New point. Select the option "Key" and enter disallowrun value in the Type field. Confirm application of changes with pressing Enter.
6. Open a context menu of the created parameter by click of the right mouse button and specify the New point. Select the option "Line Value" and specify value 1 in the Type field. Confirm the choice with pressing Enter and disclose the created parameter doubleclick of a mouse. Enter имя_браузера.exe value in the Value of Data field and apply changes by clicking of the OK button.
