Banner – the means of attraction of interest of people in a certain object having advertizing character. Most often it looks as the small image in fact representing the link to a specific Internet resource. To include a banner, it is necessary to perform several operations. For an example the ucoz system is taken.
Instruction
1. To add a banner on the website, use the Rotator of Banners function. It allows to show several banners in one place randomly, but also will be suitable also for placement unique. Enter the control panel. On the homepage select the Rotator of Banners item.
2. If in the future you plan to add different references to other Internet pages, use the Create Category button that there was an opportunity to sort them. If one banner is still enough, press the Add a Banner button. The new dialog box will open.
3. Consistently fill the necessary fields: select from a drop-down list banner type (text, the image, a flash, the full code), in the Name of a Banner field specify information which will help you to define what the banner is. It will not be brought to pages of the website. Set image sizes if selected this type of a banner, insert the link to the picture (it can be uploaded via the file manager to the site or it is filled in on a third-party photohosting).
4. Celebrate days of the week in which the banner will be visible to visitors, specify the period of the beginning and the end of its demonstration. If a banner only one, you can not install a demonstration priority. Make sure that in the field "Status" costs Active value, and save the made settings by the corresponding button.
5. Pass to the website, become authorized on it as the administrator, in the control menu the website select the Designer item and the Include the Designer command. Wait until the page is refreshed. In the same Designer menu choose the Add the Block + command. Drag just created block to the right place. Rename it, having double-clicked with the left mouse button "The new block" across the field.
6. Press the button in the form of a gear relating to the block created by you. The new dialog box will open. On the Contents tab click Banners icon. The window will be updated, in the list you will see the link to the banner which is just created in the control panel. Left-click on it, save changes by a command in the Designer menu and return to normal browse mode. In the selected place there will be your banner.
