Speed of the Internet for the end user depends on the rate selected by it. As a rule, the rate is more expensive, the it is higher. In practice this speed can be very low, however it is possible to increase it, having a little optimized connection use.

1. Change some parameters of the browser. For example, if on Internet pages you pay bigger attention to the text, turn off loading of pictures. It considerably will increase speed of loading of web pages and comfort at their viewing. The same way turn off loading of a sound, video, animation and other multimedia elements. In addition, to increase web surfing speed, apply means to compression of content, for example, the Turbo function in the Opera browser. However at the involved compression of content some web pages (online editors of the text or a flash mediaplayers) will stop working.
2. Install the special program optimizer (for example, Ashampoo WinOptimiser) and with its help make setup of connection with the Internet. As a rule, in the course of optimization of connection, such programs disconnect the operating system services consuming traffic and also compulsorily block automatic loading of any given applications which are connected to the Internet. It is possible to execute optimization both automatically, and manually.
3. Find out what programs use connection to the Internet in the background. As a rule, it is used by online radio receivers and programs for viewing a video stream, a torrent clients, download managers and to that similar. To increase connection speed, close all these programs or work with their settings. For example, set restriction for loading in a download manager and a torrent client (there will be enough speed, equal 20% of the general throughput of the channel). In the mediaplayer select lower bitrate of online radio or video. As a result of these actions the speed of connection of other programs with the Internet considerably will increase.
