The security key of a wireless network is the main instrument of protection of connection. Setup and code conversion of this key deserves special attention to exclude any opportunity to strangers to intercept a network signal.

Instruction

1. Select the section "Setup of Network". For this purpose in the Windows 7 operating system on a desktop click "Start-up" and in the appeared main menu pass into the Control panel point to configure a security key of a wireless network of Wi-fi. 5. Choose the Be Connected to a Wireless Network Manually command when you close a window of a setup wizard of network. On the appeared Enter Information on a Wireless Network Which Needs to Be Added page specify an algorithm of WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) in the Safety Type point. Fill out other necessary data.

6. Press the Change Connection Parameters button and open the Safety tab. In a new window apply a checkbox on the General point at the Safety Type group. Confirm the settings with the OK button and close a window.
