Facebook - one of the largest social networks in the world. It was based by the pupil of Harvard University in 2004. In 2014 the audience of Facebook made 1.3 billion users.
Instruction
1. For registration in Facebook open the homepage of social network.
2. Fill fields, having entered the present data. The name and a surname can be entered in any language which supports Facebook. Further enter the contact information: phone number or e-mail address. Then repeat input in avoidance of an error at character set.
3. After that you need to think up the password from the page on Facebook. The password may contain digits, lowercase and capital letters of the latin alphabet, special characters (-, @, () &, etc.). In an input line the password will not be displayed therefore for more convenient input it is possible to open any text editor (for example ""Notepad"") and to enter the password. After that to copy it in a clipboard and to insert into a password entry line.
4. Specify the birthday. Select from the appearing list day, month and year of birth. But you remember if you are less than 16 years old, Facebook will refuse to you registration as registration in Facebook for persons is younger than 16 years is prohibited.
5. Now you need to confirm authenticity of the entered contact information. If you at registration used the e-mail, open the e-mail. The letter will come within several minutes. If you did not find the letter, try to look at it in the Spam folder. In the letter there will be a link to which you should pass for confirmation of a profile.
If at data entry you used the mobile phone, then on it SMS will come with the password which needs to be entered on the opened page in the upper right corner. Later check correctness of the entered data and click further.
6. On the homepage of your profile you can: edit information on itself (a red marker on a photo), to browse a news feed (a green marker on a photo), to add the status (a blue marker on a photo).
7. To add information on itself, follow the link ""Edit a Profile"" on the homepage. In the opened window you can change information on yourself. Add the main photo. For this purpose click ""Add a photo"" near a name. In the opened additional window select the photo from the computer or make a photo from the webcam. Fill out information on yourself.
8. Find friends. For this purpose on the homepage of a profile click the link ""Find Friends"". In fields enter on the right all information on the friend which is available for you whom you want to find. It is possible to add friends from other social networks. For this purpose too there is a column on the right.
9. Add interesting groups. For this purpose on the homepage of a profile, find the section ""Groups"" in a column at the left. Look at the recommended groups, groups of friends or local groups (on your location). By means of the search string find groups on your interests.
10. Add material about yourself. On the homepage of the profile you can write the status. It is possible to include interesting expression in it in the right frame of mind, to tell about that, what do you do. It is possible to insert a photo and video content into the status. The photo and video can be added separately in the section ""Add Photo/video"".
