To whom provides the free home Internet of Google

The Google company from now on is also Internet service provider. On July 26, 2012 in the North American city of Kansas City the presentation of a superfast broadband network of The Google Fiber on which creation the company worked about two years took place. It is remarkable that for the future clients the founders of network provided even free option of its use.

Perhaps, very few people will refuse to have the Internet with data transmission rate one gigabit per second at home. High-quality video can be watched without waiting for the end of process of buffering. And transfer and downloading files of large volumes will take only read moments. And in general similar speeds will open the horizons of which still users had to dream only.

Such fantastic opportunities will also be provided to the clients by The Google Fiber network — the home Internet and cable television rolled into one — is more right on one end of a broadband cable on a uniform subscription. And residents of Kansas City will be able to use The Google Fiber in  September, 2012. So far the subscription of persons interested is conducted. At choice three data plans are offered to them.

1. Superfast home Internet and television. The cost of a standard package — $120 a month. If the client wants to connect any additional TV channels which are not included into the standard list of telecasting, it is also necessary to pay in addition for them. The payment for connection is not raised, moreover, the company will provide to the client the free tablet for control over traffic.

2. Superfast home Internet without television. Cost — $70 a month. Additional expenses also should not be incurred.

3. Free broadband home Internet. Connection speed will be lower — 5 Mbps. Besides, it is necessary to pay connection.

How soon residents of other cities will be able to join The Google Fiber, it is not known yet. Oddly enough, the United States lag behind other developed countries in questions of availability of the home broadband Internet. So the similar initiative of Google received praises at the highest level — from the head of the Federal commission on communications of the USA Julius Genachouski. He, as well as the vice president of the corporation Google Milo Medin, noted that transition in Internet speeds from megabits to gigabits offers the broadest prospects for innovations in the fields of science, education, medicine and business.
