Croutons salad

Crunchy French toasts with Provence herbs – a highlight of salad which will be to the taste to all family. Croutons – the small fried cubes of white loaf – favourite ingredient of vegetable salads in France.

It is required to you

  • - long loaf (1/2 long loafs);
  • - garlic (2 cloves);
  • - olive oil (3 tablespoons);
  • - Provence herbs (1/2 h spoon);
  • - marinated mushrooms (150 g);
  • - paprika (1 piece);
  • - cucumber (1 piece);
  • - hard cheese (100 g).

Instruction

1. We cut off long loaf crusts. We cut pulp in cubes with the party of 1.5 cm.

2. We mix olive oil with garlic. We add Provence herbs and salt to taste.

3. We dip grain cubes in the prepared mix and we spread on a baking tray. We bake croutons of 15-20 minutes in an oven until they become crunchy (it is possible to stir slowly with a wooden scapula).

4. The paprika and a fresh cucumber is cut by straws, and a hard cheese – cubes with the party of 0.5-0.7 cm. To cheese with vegetables it is added small marinated mushrooms (or the marinated champignons cut by thin plates).

5. We pour out croutons in salad and accurately we mix everything. We fill with olive oil (or the sauce which remained after preparation of croutons). It is possible to add salt to taste.
