Home-made liqueur for a holiday and not only

During holidays in many houses it is accepted to take alcoholic beverages not only those that are bought in shop, but also own production. The cocktails and liqueurs made independently are popular not less, than drinks of factory production.

For liqueur you will need plain ingredients which are simple for finding in shops. On 50 g of dried apricots, black and white raisin, orange, a cinnamon stick, on a pinch of ginger, cardamom, on 3-4 stars of a carnation and an anisetree, a vanilla bean. Also coarse-crystalline sugar – 150 g, and vodka half of liter is required. If you want to make liqueur for some celebration, it is necessary to begin approximately for few weeks.

For preparation of liqueur you need a glass jar. Wash dried fruits and lay inside, add cardamom, ginger, the crushed nutmeg, cinnamon, a carnation. Cut a vanilla bean once lengthways and once across. Wash orange in hot water. At the same time it is desirable to use a brush – it will help to remove wax which covered fruit (it is applied to increase the term of their storage). Now cut off a dried peel from orange, at the same time try not to touch a white part. Lay cut off in bank, there squeeze out orange juice. Fill up everything with sugar.

Fill in all ingredients with vodka. Its quality has to be high. Leave to bank in the cool place for few weeks. Its contents should be mixed periodically that sugar could be dissolved completely. When there passes this time, merge liquid from banks. Dried fruits can be used after that for pies or other pastries.

Liqueur turns out that more tasty, than longer infuses. It is possible to give with a stick of cinnamon and with ice, and for ornament to use lemon circles.
