How to bake apricot pie

Apricot pie is not only very tasty, but also useful dish. For its pastries the most plain ingredients and approximately an hour and a half are required for time. Ready fragrant pie will become original decoration of any table.

It is required to you

  • 500 g of apricots;
    • 200 g of a desi;
    • 200 g of sugar;
    • 2 tsps of vanilla sugar;
    • 3 eggs;
    • 10 g of baking powder or 1 tsp of extinguished soda;
    • 600 g of flour.

Instruction

1. Halve carefully washed out apricots, exempt from stones and cut on segments. Pound a desi with vanillin and sugar, add some egg and well mix. Hashing can be stopped when sugar grains cease to be felt.

2. Add flour and baking powder (it can be replaced with soda), knead dough. It has to turn out rather dense and not stick to hands. The quality of pie – if a mobile dough depends on consistence of the test, it will be badly baked. Outside can already begin to burn, but inside still will be crude.

3. Prepare a form, having greased it vegetable or a desi. Lay two thirds of the test on a bottom of a form and level, edges have to rise a little on each side forms, forming similarity superficial (2-3 cm) bowls.

4. Lay apricots on dough, it is desirable to spread them equal symmetric ranks – so more beautifully. But it is possible and just to pour out segments and to evenly distribute them according to the test that allows to save time.

5. Roll leftover dough in layer about 5-7 mm thick and cut on strips 1.5-2 cm wide. Lay them on apricots two crossing ranks, the grid from the test through which fruit segments are visible will turn out.

6. Warm an oven to 180 degrees and put in it pie approximately for 35-40 minutes. You watch how it is reddened. If necessary lower heating temperature a little.

7. Readiness of pie is defined by a traditional way – pierce it a toothpick. If on it there are no test traces, the dish is ready. As a rule, similar check is required only at the first preparation. Having made pie two-three times, you by practical consideration will pick up the necessary time and temperature which is the most suitable for pastries.

8. Having taken out pie from an oven, grease its top surface with a desi, it will add it beautiful gloss. The ready-to-eat meal should be served on a table a little cooled down, but not cold. To pie it is possible to offer milk, compote, kissel or tea. According to this recipe it is possible to bake pie not only with apricots, but also with apples, peaches, plums.
