Plums are useful and tasty fruit which many grow up at the dacha. Having regaled on fresh fruits, you can use plum for preparation of the most tasty compotes or jam. Very sweet and pleasant jam turns out from yellow grades of plums.

It is required to you

  • 1 kg of plums;
    • 2 kg of granulated sugar.

Instruction

1. Treat yellow grades of plum "Morning", Alyonushka, "Is found", "Egg", by "Vetraz" and others. If at you at the dacha it tree grows, consider that you were lucky! Of course, in other other case of plum for preparations jam it is possible to get in any supermarket.

2. So, first of all carefully wash out fruits under flowing water and let's them dry. Cut plums in half and remove a stone.

3. Take rather volume basin for preparation of jam and lay out on it ready halves. Fill up plum with an even layer of sugar and leave to infuse for 25-35 minutes. Then put a basin on small fire, without forgetting to stir slowly with sugar and plum weight.

4. While mix gets warm, be engaged in preparation of cans for preservation. One-one-liter jars need to be washed out and sterilized carefully on a plate. Take a big pan, pour water into it and put on fire. Cover a pan with a metal sieve cloth or a lattice so that banks didn't fail inside. Wait until water begins to boil and sterilize the jars on couple about 15 minutes. Do the similar procedure also with covers.

5. Meanwhile sugar and plum mix will begin to start to boil. Let's jam boil about 10 minutes, then switch off gas. Wait until jam is cooled to room temperature, and then again light gas and bring contents to the boil. Let's jam boil 10 minutes, cool to room temperature and return on a plate. As soon as contents of a basin begin to boil for the third time, spread out jam on the prepared banks. Densely roll up banks so that in them there was no access to air.
