1. Pay attention to how the bottle is corked. The stopper has to sit densely on a neck and not be scrolled. The safety ring on a screw cap shouldn't be damaged. The bottle with a screw cap, as a rule, is filled to the middle of a neck.
2. Look at bottle contents. For this purpose sharply turn it upside down. At quality vodka there shouldn't be a deposit and other foreign particles. Besides, it shouldn't be hazy or a yellowish shade.
3. At a bottle with quality vodka there has to be an easily readable stamp of date of pouring which is applied with manufacturer on the reverse or outer side of the label, on glass of a bottle or on a thermoshrinkable cap. Besides, compare date of pouring on a stamp on the label to date of pouring on a stamp on a cap. If they don't coincide, refuse acquisition of this product.
4. The label and the counterlabel have to be bright, equal and strong keep on a bottle. Signature labels at the plant are pasted by automatic machine. Existence of uneven dabs of glue can demonstrate manual gluing of labels.
5. Pay attention to information specified on the label. Now vodka is affected by GOST P 51355-99. The digital code on the label has to consist of 7-10 figures, the last two from which designate the city in which drink was produced. Besides, on a bottle the date of pouring of vodka, the name and the address of the producer, the license number, the sign of the certificate of conformity and fortress of alcoholic drink has to be specified.
6. In addition, you can determine authenticity of vodka by a smell and taste. Quality drink has to have thin vodka (the unpleasant odor or in a different way raw vodka is a sign of use of low-quality alcohol at production of vodka) aroma and a mild flavor.
7. Well and at last, the warranty period of storage of usual vodka makes 12 months; "special" vodka - 6 months; the vodka intended for the Ministry of Defence - 15 months; and for export - 5 years from the date of pouring.
